Why Instant Hotspot is Awesome™

On WWDC 2014 Apple already demo new operating system for Mobile and their Mac. Apple will released OS X Yosemite and iOS 8 on September 2014.

One features that will be available is Instant Hotspot. This featured will make Personal Hotspot more simple and awesome. Instant Hotspots is an update for Personal Hotspot that available on iPhone. But with OS X Yosemite and iOS 8. This features will be much simple and easy connect.

Instant Hotspot

 iOS 8′s Instant Hotspot makes this process a lot easier. As the name suggests, the process is now instant, requiring absolutely no configuration. If your Mac or iPad isn’t getting Wi-Fi, and your iPhone is nearby, you’ll automatically see your iPhone’s hotspot in the Wi-Fi menu, and with just one click, you’ll be able to access the internet via your phone’s data connection.

You don’t need to fiddle around with your iPhone’s settings, there’s no need to enter a password, the connection is just available whenever you need it, as long as your iPhone’s nearby. You don’t have to worry about battery life, as the iPhone automatically disconnects if you’re not using the phone’s network.

Apple’s hasn’t specified how this feature actually works under-the-hood, but we’re guessing it’s a combination of iCloud, Bluetooth 4 LE and of course Wi-Fi.

If you’re a frequent user of Personal Hotspot, iOS 8′s Instant Hotspot will be a very welcome change, and will make it way easier to get on the internet as quickly as possible.
